Margaret River Brewery Tours - Corporate Team Building

Margaret River Breweries holds a special place in the hearts of many who visit the region. Craft beers are exploding in popularity! While the southwest is known for its long list of wineries, the Margaret River beer tour crowd is growing its own following. This list will include a few of the great breweries that offer fun times, relaxing atmospheres, beer tours and delicious craft beers!

Bootleg Brewery

It was nearly 20 years ago when this was the lone brewery in the area. They even coined the phrase: an oasis of beer in a desert of wine.

This old brewery mixes in perfectly with the beautiful, laid-back vibes of the Margaret River Region. At this brewpub, you can relax and sip on exquisite craft beers and soak up all the wonderful views of the area. There is a children's playground, a giant chess game, and even laser tag!

There is even more to observe. Go upstairs to the 2nd level of the facility and take a peek into the inner workings of the brewery too on a brewery tour.

This brewery serves up big portions of food alongside their naturally brewed boutique beers. Sip on the Raging Bull. This big, bold ale is named after a Raging Angus Bull that lived at Bootleg a long time ago. This bull terrorized anything and everything in its path, so it makes sense that this big, flavorful beer shares its name. Intense flavors of crystal malts like toffee and toast start off this wonderful drink. Popcorn as well as coffee flavors of roasted barley round it out. It has a slightly bitter, warm body that finishes with chocolate sweetness.

Tom's Amber is a traditional and malty member of the collection. It is an aromatic Australian Ale that is copper in color and slightly carbonated. This beer is the favourite of Bootleg's owner and founder, Tom Reynolds.

Brewhouse
This brewery is a local favourite! Located on the edge of Margaret River town center, seek out the sign adorned with the six-armed mermaid, and you know you have reached the right place! The mermaid represents the six owners, and while the brewery is located in the bush, it is still within walking distance from town. Brewhouse offers an airy open space with large windows that open out onto a wrap-around deck. It also contains an open kitchen and fireplace for keeping cozy during those cooler months. Even during times of being extremely busy, you can take a picnic blanket and enjoy your beer and food out on the lawn.

Brewhouse has eight core beers available on tap. Here are just a couple of them you may find in Margaret River Breweries.

Red IPA
This beer is inspired by America's northwest. This smooth IPA contains Mosaic as the star hop. It contains tropical and stone and citrus flavors. The crystal and Red X malts give it a deeply red color. It also has a full body to balance out the bitterness beautifully.

Stout
The name says it all. This is a traditional, big body, creamy brew with oats, chocolate malt, and roasted barley. This is a rich and smooth drink that is mysterious in its dark color. It gives off roasted chocolate and coffee flavors that linger on your palate with a slight sweetness. This rich and creamy drink is balanced out by earthy and spicy EKG hops.

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Company
With a name like Cheeky Monkey Brewing, you may be able to figure out what this brewery is all about. Letting loose and celebrating with a bit of mischief is the name of the game here. Located off Caves Road in Wilyabrup, this brewery boasts a slightly smirking stone monkey at the gate. His look invites you inside the fun world of the Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co. This brewery features high ceilings with a mix of modern and rustic decor. The casual environment is sure to spark a little mischievous celebration in anyone!

The Cheeky Monkey is known for its fun and full-flavored beers. They are made with fresh Margaret River rainwater, hops, malts, and yeast. No preservatives or additives here. This is as natural and fresh and unpasteurized as possible, which you can hear about on a Brewery tour

Cheeky IPA is the first beer to mention here. This is a hard-hitting West Coast IPA. This beer absolutely explodes with tropical fruit flavors like orange zest, passionfruit, and mango. There is also a generous malt backbone and strong bitterness in there.

Cheeky Pale is an American-style Pale Ale. This offering is full of tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, you will detect passionfruit and peach. The finish will bring a low, clean bitterness and has become many people's go-to beer.

Margaret River is mostly known for wineries, but the breweries here are quickly making a name for themselves. It is a great place to taste some amazing craft beers on a Margaret River Brewery Tour, and relax in an incredible setting.
